As President of Stour Valley Lions, I am delighted to welcome you to our website.
For more than 40 years, Stour Valley Lions have proudly supported the residents of Shipston-on-Stour and the surrounding villages. We are a committed group of volunteers offering practical help and support to individuals, families, charities, and community organisations across the wider local area.
As part of the world’s largest service organisation, Lions members volunteer in communities across the globe. Wherever you live, work, or travel throughout the British Isles, you are likely to encounter Lions members and the projects they support.
Being both local and global allows us to respond to the unique needs of our own community while also contributing to wider efforts wherever help is needed.
Every day, Lions bring people together through enjoyable, memorable fundraising activities. Across Europe alone, Lions volunteer around 6 million hours of service each year and raise more than £88 million to support community needs.
